Sara is a licensed real estate salesperson for Sotheby’s in New York and New Jersey. Prior to real estate, she built a successful career as a nationwide sales director in the wholesale footwear industry, consistently achieving multi-million-dollar sales goals through high-quality service and strong client partnerships.

In 2024 and 2025, Sara became RealTrends Verified, a distinction that independently analyzes and validates the sales performance of real estate agents, teams, and brokerages, recognizing top performers in the industry. She has ranked in the Top 100 within the Julia B. Fee & William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty franchise in 2023, 2024, and 2025, placing in the top 12% overall and ranking #4 in her office.

Personal Journey:

Born in Bogotá, Colombia as Cielo Cepeda, Sara was adopted from the FANA Orphanage in 1977 and brought to the United States at three months old. She was raised in Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens, and now lives in Yonkers, NY.

At the age of 36, Sara embarked on a journey to find her biological mother. Through internet searches and with the help of a colleague, she located her on Facebook, discovering that her existence was unknown to her biological family. This emotional reunion in Colombia not only changed Sara’s life but also inspired her to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. This journey led to the creation of the 'Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child Foundation,' a future project she aims to develop.
